Create Construction have experienced rapid growth and recently upgraded their Construct for Sage 50 Accounts to Construct for Sage 200 Accounts, to provide the business more detailed financial analysis. However, the business was struggling to track their budgets effectively. The estimating team were tracking budgets post contract from the estimate through spreadsheets, which was extremely time consuming for the finance department, and meant they had to enter budgets into Construct manually which was prone to error.
The estimator at Create Construction had used EValuate and other estimating software solutions in a previous role and felt as though EValuate was far more advanced, easy to implement and get up and running quickly. The solution would offer full integration with their current Construct for Sage 200 Accounts solution meaning that budgets against a project entered in EValuate could automatically be sent to Construct at the touch of a button, this would allow the finance team to report quickly and easily on the costs against a job.
By implementing EValuate, Create Construction will also benefit from advanced estimating software that will allow them quickly and easily produce Bills of Quantities and perform a fast accurate On-screen Takeoff with enhanced CAD drawing and BIM model functionality. The business has also decided to implement the Subcontractor Enquiry Portal where they can issue enquiries, drawings and revisions to their subcontractors via an online portal, saving time and ensuring all responses are held in the same place.
